ABOUT
While interning at Snyk, I was tasked with redesigning the visual styling of the company's blog. This was a necessary update, as the previous design had become overly complex and inconsistent after long-term use. The team wanted a fresher, more cohesive, and engaging visual direction.
I began by experimenting with the brand’s color palette, illustration style, and conceptual interpretations of various blog topics. From this exploration, I developed a set of blog design guidelines focused on creating a strong visual focal point. These guidelines included placing all blog header illustrations centrally and frequently incorporating bold, eye-catching gradients to draw attention and introduce a subtle element of disruption to the brand’s established look.
After presenting the concept to the team, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive, and the new styling was implemented into the company’s blog almost immediately. I completed this project alongside a range of other design tasks, including social media posts, one-pagers, ad designs, and more.
